Worst Dressed at the Oscars 2010 Everyone may want to know who’s wearing what on the red carpet but in this case, we just wanna know why. It’s our list of the Oscars worst dress. While the color may have been stunning, Vera Farmiga’s fuchsia gown overwhelmed her frame with too many ruffles. Mariah Carey showed too much skin for the elegant red carpet and it looked more appropriate for a twin star. Tina Fey could have been on our Best Dressed list but ruined her sheet gown with this Texas helmet hair. Basic and boring, Twilight star Kristen Stewart underwhelmed us in a rushed to midnight blue mermaid gown, red carpet designer Cathy Ireland coated herself with too much jewelry taking this look from upscale to granny chic in 10 seconds flat. For her big night, actress Anna Kendrick chose a gown too close to her skin color and a design more appropriate for someone twice her age. And although she took a risk, Maggie Gyllenhaal had unfortunate results while the fit is beautiful, this gown was more appropriate for a—than the Oscars.
