Hillary Kerr: Hello! Everyone and welcome to WhoWhatWear TV. We are your host, I am Hillary Kerr. Katherine Power: And I am Katherine Power. In today's episode we are going to show you how to create your own version of the ladylike looks you saw on the Michael Kors Fall Runway. Female Speaker: The fabulous feminine outfits at Michael Kors represented early 60s style. The collections colors were soft camel and tan with splashes of vibrant green. The accessories included classic tortoiseshell glasses and fur neck-wraps. Katherine Power: Before you start putting your runway look together, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the collections, proportions and fit. Now you don't have to match every hem line or silhouette. But it's a good idea to keep those shapes in mind while you are shopping. Hillary Kerr: When emulating a runway collection, don't forget to pay careful attention to the details. Thoughtfully chosen accessories, like the right scarf, hat, gloves or bag will convey the show spirit in a smart way. Our first look really channels the Hitchcock hairline by Michael Kors' fall collection. As the foundation of our look, we gave Stella a snug Kelly green sweater and this tailored camel colored skirt from BCBG. And this look is really all about the accessories, so to bring in the retro vive, we gave her a leopard print belt and a tan fedora. Then to finish off the look a pointy pair of beige silhouettes. Katherine Power: Our next look is another great example of the early 60s style, seen at Michael Kors. We first gave Danny the sheath dress by AKA, which was a little bit short for what we were going for. So we gave her a pencil skirt underneath. To play up the runway reference, we found an amazing pair of tortoiseshell glasses, at Forever 21, and add a little bit of touch of luxury with this faux fur collar.
