Host: Come rain or shine a tent gives you shelter and can still bring in the ambiance of nature. Linda Howard: Tents are magical. There are so many beautiful clear tents—tents that allow you to see the stars sparkling up above in the sky. We could pull back the sides of the tents and you’d see the foliage surrounding the tent. Host: But those of you looking for more refined and finished look in a natural setting, draping is essential. Noel Pearce: It’s all about the atmosphere. You want your guest to come in and you want them to feel comfortable. You want them to feel in the mood. You want to get across your special night your special date. You can do that with drapes. Host: But with new innovations a bride could choose to forego draping and use the tent literally as blank canvass that can either be printed or projected on. Lonnie Egelston: The newest thing is the custom colored v-line treatment. We've got an exclusive two custom design whatever print you want. So it’s a new way to treat the inside of the tent sort of more upscale, higher designs. Host: Whatever design you decide on perhaps the most dramatic tool you can use to create wonderful ambiance is lighting. Anseth Page Richards: There’s a wonderful color washes that you can do with focus patterns called goboss. You can do foliage patterns. You can do a monogram. You can do stars. You can bring in beautiful fabric with twinkle lights. Host: But you have to consider more than just the walls and the ceiling. Don’t forget your dance floor. J Patrick: Stepping on out to your dance floor, what we’ve done here is used a thing called Marle. This is a rubber surface in this case we've painted it like a stone floor, so this is perfect for dancing. It rolls up absolutely no problem. Host: When you factor everything plus the factor like heat or maybe air conditioning tents can be costly. J Patrick: When you're planning on doing a tent for your wedding or your reception you want a figure on your tent for about $25.00 per person is what is going to add to your allocation. That’s where you want to be. So you figured, that is going to give you your basic tent, your tables, your chairs. Host: But for many brides and grooms the ideal setting makes it all worthwhile. Female: It’s magical. It is magical!
