Texas is definitely influence the way my style has evolved. Living in Texas, it's sort of becomes like living in little inflated bubble. I lived out in the suburbs about 40 minutes outside of Dallas and I’ve always gone to really small schools. My friends are never really interested in fashion. It's sort of like it’s up to me to create my own little fashion world. So, I would say that living in complete isolation almost has given me complete freedom. So, it's been a really good environment to cultivate my style in. Probably my favorite blog out there is Luxirare. What she does like so beyond just a personal style blog. She puts three weeks worth of effort into everyone of her pose and there's always this elaborate project and it's not always to do with fashion. She does cooking. I think she's so amazing. There's something about the internet that inspires. Well, definitely everyone think that they are becoming more and more obsolete and you see how vogue and other September issues and cut back, like 450 pages but I’m young. I don’t know what's going to happen to magazines, but I’m certainly happy to be in the media. I don’t think that there is sort of competition between all of the style bloggers. There is definitely a very tight sense of community but we’re always supportive of each other because more power to the bloggers and it's so great that hobbies on cover of Fad. Wow, it's incredible, but it's really excited for each other’s accomplishments I think. It's really been interesting to see how all of our careers really have evolved. They have become clear from this. My favorite designers are Martin Margiela, all of Comme des Garcons, Jimmy Watanabe. I like James Takahashi, Heather Ackerman, and Rick Owens. I used to do all of my photography by myself. It's very difficult but now my mom and I photograph each other because my mom has a blog. So, I photograph her for her blog, she photographs me for mine, good relationship. I haven't really spent enough time in New York. I feel like usually I was staying solo and I just end up going to opening ceremony and I love Fair It Store. It's great to see in the future. Excited to get to Texas at some point, but still love Texas. I’m excited to see the direction that all of the blogs that are going to go in. I think that things are changing a lot right now and it's an exciting time to be in.
