Hello you’re watching Phone Arena’s video preview of the Sony Ericsson C510 which aims of being the cheapest Cyber-shot phone. In order to achieve this, its characteristics are poorer compared to the top models and underneath the metal lid at the back you’ll find only a 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus and a flash. Its display is completely standard for a new mid end phone measuring at 2.2 inches with a QVGA resolution and support for 262,000 colors. The navigation keys and the numeric keypad also unsurprising anyway the only extra here is that when the camera is active the keys that are acting as shortcuts to the basic functions get eliminated. The same goes for the camera shutter which is situated on the right side. On the same side there is also volume rocker and on the opposite one are the charger connector and the M2 card slot. The C510 incorporates the same interface found in the latest Sony Ericsson camera phones which if it is examined closer the C905 review for example. The only thing that distinguishes it is the presence of smile detection a shooting mode that we seen a phone from this manufacturer for the first time. The rest of the features are totally enough in order to turn the device into a nice and cheap camera phone. However, everything depends on the camera quality and the price of the device once it hits the market. It would be then when you should expect our detailed video for review.
