Runway Fashions from Academy of Art University Fall 2010 Alex McCord: We are so excited to see the Academy of Art University show. I think that is one of the best shows every fashion week because you get to see the young cutting edge designers who were getting their moment at Bryant Park. Naomi Sutton: Mine was the all white collections. The images of my brother and I and my cousins, it was like old various style dresses. It’s kind of a whimsical memory of the farm. Sabah Mansoor: My collection was actually inspired a lot by my home country of India. The details were in the crochet. I did a lot of hand crocheting, beading and knitting. Steven Oo: I was inspired by the Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas and I use a lot of his textures into the texture of the knits, and the gentle curves of his buildings into the silhouettes of my garments.
