Richie Sambora - White Trash Beautiful Fashion Show Violet Kanian: Hey I'm Violet from Hollyscoop here at the WTV fashion show where stars are here to support Richie Sambora’s fashion line and watch his daughter Ava straight down the runway. How excited are you to have your daughter in your show? Richie Sambora: You know what it is so much fun. I did a photo shoot with her a few years ago and it was a daddy-daughter shoot on a father’s day thing. For me, for my house take some pictures of my daughter and it came out so good I was like oh God you know. And she saw, I mean she went “Dad can I model”? And I went “No not yet”. You know so, when we have our first show last year, I said “You want to model”? And she went “Yeah”. And so the only modeling she is really done has been into my shows that’s where we are right now. Her priorities are school work and also I believe in maintaining the innocents of children. So before that now you know, when she is going to be 18 and 19 she is going to do what she’s going to want to do and I am going to support her and help her through it and that’s what happens now a days. Violet Kanian: How hard is it to raise children in Hollywood? Richie Sambora: It is not that bad for me, you know I'm a very hands on dad and I have a relationship with my daughter while I talk to her just like I am talking to you right now, and you know what I set up boundaries and I'm pretty sure of it. Violet Kanian: What if she works and turns to you and says “I want to be a rock star, I want to be an actress” would you stop her -- Richie Sambora: I will help her. I wouldn’t encourage it because both businesses are fledgling at the moment. The record business is trying to find its way through the mocking mire of people sharing music and stealing music and the acting business is fledgling because of realty shows. Violet Kanian: But the best piece of advice or lesson that you taught her about the industry? Richie Sambora: Be very afraid and work very, very, very hard in your craft because there are so many people trying to get in. I like to call myself a specialist that is why I'm successful. I do a few things very, very well that I stick to it. Hey I'm Richie Sambora and that’s the scoop from Hollyscoop.
