[Music Video Clip] In over 30 million album sold, the two have won countless awards and have entertained fans around the world making them the most successful duo in country music history. Now that Kix and Ronnie have decided to hang it up, the newest stars in country music are dishing to us the impact the duo has made. [Music Video Clip] Big Kenny: I mean Boot Scootin Boogie was like wow! Darius Rucker: I always thought they were the coolest. Danny Gokey: I mean, they're fan-freaking-tastic. A couple of reasons are there, that’s how great they are. Steel Magnolia: They paved the way for us to be here tonight—so, huge influence. Justin Moore: They're our prime example of exactly what you need to do to sustain longevity in this business. Neil Perry: Even just as a group to mimic how they’ve been able to stay relevant all these years. Kimberly Perry: It's amazing. Neil Perry: And so, yeah, definitely— Gretchen Wilson: Oh yeah, I mean they're heroes in country music and a lot of us have grown up listening to heir music and tried to sound like them and tried to sing and write like them. Cowboy Troy: Hopefully, they’ll teach me how to write a song and to—have some hits like they did. [Music Video Clip] Marc Fortney: My Maria is my favorite. Crystal Hoyt: That is a good— Marc Fortney: My Ashley Cole, that was the original and then right at the end, they switched it to Maria. So, I don’t know. Vinny Hickerson: Well— Ashley: Okay, not really but one thing is for sure, no one seems to be too worried about their departure. Danny Gokey: So here we go, let me get psychic here. There is going to be a reunion of course. That's not a very bold prediction but there is going to be a reunion and they're going to come back. Just give me another true, it might not be for a couple of years but there is something that’s going to happen. Miranda Lambert: I think that we’re really going to miss amazing songs and amazing voice. But, I think they’ll be back. David Nail: You never know. They could be like the Eagles and do like non-farewell tours. I don’t think anyone ever truly retires. Once you’ve done this and you get it in your blood, it's—I can't imagine that Kix is just going to retire back to Nashville and watch the grapes grow in his winery. Randy Rogers: Maybe when they come and do a reunion tour, they’ll ask us to come with them. Ashley: Hey, put in the request right? Randy Rogers: Come on Ronnie. Rhiannon Ally: Good news, you can still catch Brooks and Dunn right now on their final tour, The Last Rodeo. And don’t miss the star-studded tribute concert which airs this weekend on CBS.
