People Style Watch - All About Celebrity Fashion Trends Audra Lowe: A big star has a new look and a rocker has getting into fashion, want to know who? Well Rhiannon has all the scoop for Melissa Liebling-Goldberg editor of PeopleStyleWatch.com. Rhiannon: Hi Audra, Melissa’s here to talk about the hottest stories this week on PeopleStyleWatch.com. We’re here to see what all our favorite celebrities are up to in the fashion world. First step, let’s talk Rihanna, How would like to be personal style by Rihanna? Melissa: I mean can you imagine-- Rhiannon: Yeah she’s got great style we’d love her. Melissa: Amazing and she actually dressed five girls at Top Shop in London this week, they won the chance to go and -- Rhiannon: The luckiest girls in the universe? Melissa: Correct! Rihanna actually personally selected outfits for them. I mean you cannot beat that. No one has better style than she does -- Rhiannon: Yeah in Top Shop, there’s one in New York also and it’s very -- Melissa: It reminds me of Rihanna a little bit it’s too edgy, it’s definitely funky, it’s very London cool, so very lucky girl. Rhiannon: You just cannot get any better than that? Okay let’s talk about Keira Knightley, she’s got a new hairdo. What do you think? Melissa: I really love it. Rhiannon: You like it? Melissa: I do, I mean she’s got such a beautiful face. Rhiannon: She’s gorgeous. Melissa: Less is more I think with someone that pretty. Rhiannon: She’s one of those women that can really pull off anything, any look. She could wear a big clown wig and look phenomenal but I don’t know with and I don’t know if I like where it cuts, I think it going to cuts her face a little bit. Melissa: I like it I think she’s got such strong features and such high cheek bones it’s really pretty on her. Rhiannon: Yeah I do like the color. I love the natural look. It looks beautiful. Okay Selena Gomez, it’s nice to see our teen stars actually doing something good. Melissa: Absolutely, so Selena Gomez has been really supporting Breast Cancer Charity initiatives, she’s been wearing this really beautiful necklace from Anne Taylor Loft. Rhiannon: It’s a really cute. Melissa: It’s really cute. It's very formal at $34.50 designed by Anna Sheffield who’s actually one of my favorite jewelry designers, also pieces from Me and Ro and from Carol Ross who’s a great New York Designers. Rhiannon: And some of the proceeds -- Melissa: And the proceeds are going to breast cancer charities. Rhiannon: Nice and you know what’s good for Anne Taylor is that it’s kind of seen as a more mature brand and Selena Gomez maybe can get some of the teens in the shop right? Melissa: That’s right, and doing good for them too. Rhiannon: Yeah good for the shop, and for the cause so it’s Octoberfest right now. Melissa: That’s right. We can all get out our beer in the celebrities are getting out there dirndls. So Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian we’re both in Germany this week and more a traditional dirndls and I mean if you’re going to have a body go with a corset, those are the girls to do it so. Rhiannon: Yeah I like Katy Perry’s version. It’s like a little more feminine and not -- Melissa: It’s sparkly, it’s so I mean they’re both -- it’s very Katy. It’s a very girly sparkly fun round. Rhiannon: And Kim even has the pigtails. Melissa: She got. She went very traditional. She went all out very, very cute on both to them. Rhiannon: I like the flashback picture also. Salma Hayek -- Melissa: Salma Hayek did in 2008, so it’s a fine Hollywood tradition of going to Octoberfest and breaking out the dirndl. Rhiannon: Why not do you think we’ll see that as a Halloween costume this year? I think it could be a good one. Melissa: You’re right you’re really fun. Rhiannon: I think it could be a good one what else do you think we’re going to see Halloween wise. You think Lady Gaga? Melissa: Always Lady Gaga actually I think Katy Perry and Russell Brand is a couple costume would be very, very fun I think we’ll see some of that. Rhiannon: That is a good one and someone else mentioned I asked people in the street what they thought and they said the Katy Perry Elmo some kind of take on that the Sesame Street. Like someone is asking who is Katy Perry?Well it can be funny. Okay what else are we seeing on the website this week what’s the hot stuff? Melissa: Paris Fashion Week, all the starts in the Paris. People are still talking about it and otherwise it’s all fall fashion. Everyone’s breaking up boots, coats, scarves, hat, so you’re really seeing the beginning of all the warm cozy fall fashion.
