NYDN Gets Victoria's Secret Wings Jacob E. Osterhout: Is this the hardest thing to wear on a runway? Alessandra Ambrosio: The wing? Jacob E. Osterhout: Yeah. Alessandra Ambrosio: Definitely. Angel. The new angel from Victoria’s Secret Jacob. Jacob E. Osterhout: What’s the worst thing that could possibly happen with the wings? You fall? Alessandra Ambrosio: Fall. Jacob E. Osterhout: Or you take somebody else out? Alessandra Ambrosio: Or them to break. Jacob E. Osterhout: So you’re going to teach me the secret to not falling on my pits? Alessandra Ambrosio: Put your hands on your waist. Jacob E. Osterhout: On the waist. Alessandra Ambrosio: Top a little bit before you’re getting to the straight part of the runway. When you get here, you kind of stop so make them straight. Do you feel that they are straight and then walk straight because if you kind of go like sides it kind of -- okay. One, two, three let’s go. Feet in front of the other feet. Jacob E. Osterhout: What am I going to do? Alessandra Ambrosio: And then once you feel that you are okay with the wing, you can put your hands out or just wave to people, send kisses. Jacob E. Osterhout: She does it better. Alessandra Ambrosio: And then you go, you can go like a little sideways and the other side. Turn around and get by. Jacob E. Osterhout: People like the wings when you come out? Alessandra Ambrosio: Yes they love the wings. Jacob E. Osterhout: They love it. Alessandra Ambrosio: Yes, they are like they go crazy. There’s always like a lot of wohoo on them. It’s very exciting. It’s the only show in the world that you do that, there’s wings involved. Those are easy. Jacob E. Osterhout: Easy. They’ve got bigger? Alessandra Ambrosio: You want to try mine? Jacob E. Osterhout: This is much heavier. Alessandra Ambrosio: Do you feel it? Can you -- do we have backpacks right now. Jacob E. Osterhout: These are really heavy. I don’t know how she does it.
