Female Host: You want to get a little wave in your hair without the fuss of rollers or even a perm. Ladies it can be done. And celebrity hair stylist Gregg Giannillo is here to show us how to do it with a few little clips. Gregg Giannillo: If you are not really handy with a curling iron or rollers, I want to show you different way to get to loose, sexy waves in your hair in an easy way. Start with towel dried hair and a volumizing lift sort of setting product. Just lightly apply that bolt to your hair and start getting your hair dry. Now that the hair is almost completely dry, I’m going to take sections of it and start working with it that way. I have this little octopus type clamps, they are little clips. I only have 8 of them. Now I have sectioned everything up with the clips, the same clips I’m going to use to hold the waves. I left this one out just so I could show you what to do. Keep this one section out and twirl it as tight as you can just like that, heat it up and then just wrap it up and clip—you already have there, it used to hold it. Follow that around for the entire section. So all the sections are good, they are all twirled up, don’t worry about them being a little messy not supposed to be perfect. Spray a little bit of a light hold and just heat it up one more time, take them down after they’ve cooled just leave them in a few take them down and let them just be wherever they want to be. Don’t break them up yet. Use a little bit of like a texturizing-defining paste, something with a little shine and emulsify it really well in your hands. Start pulling it through and shaking it out and at this at point is where you could start breaking it out. Loose, sexy, beachy waves and that is your tip of the day! Female Host: And if you’ve got questions for Gregg all you have to do is email us at Ideas@bettertv.com and he will definitely answer all of them.
