Michelle Adams: So we are here in front of Julie’s back house and she’s going to be doing a going away party for her best friend Chi. Gia Russo: I know and I’m really excited about this because Chew is a good to me and she’s going to Vietnam on the summer which means we are going to totally plan that whole theme so I think we have a lot of fun with the decorating. Female: It’s two days that with some solid planning and a few simple techniques, this party should be a breeze. The fun of Julie’s house impressive but our backyard is breeze taking a memorable setting for this send off. First, we are going to concentrate on the backyard, starting with the plain light rented party tent. Gia Russo: This looks so great. Michelle Adams: Yeah, it is really cool. The only thing is we have selected a very windy day. Julie We can tie this down and somewhere. Michelle Adams: We are going to have too. Gia Russo: Well definitely think for something else. Michelle Adams: Yeah, but I love the fabric totally Vietnamese. Julie: Yes, absolutely. Gia Russo: Okay, so let’s get to the next one. Female: We used two inexpensive panels to cover and simple look them for the tent support polls. Michelle Adams: You know what I love about the fabric is that you loop it underneath the tent so that you don’t see the polls on the top of the tent and I think that looks great. Gia Russo: It does, I think the ceiling down because this is a little bit high. Michelle Adams: Yes, right and makes them more intimate. Julie: Your tent is wondering, it’s a wonderful because it’s a clean slit. Michele Adams: My ideas were so ambitious but I realize because I scale it down and because it’s really simple and it’s perfect. Female: A beautiful paper lamp and matching garlands provide the finishing touches. [Demonstration] Michelle Adams: Okay so this looks good, you need to give the maps down. Gia Russo: Yeah we get maps and then we also brought your coffee table outside. Julie: Oh yes. Gia Russo: And we are going to use it for the dinner. Michelle Adams: Oh I love this, multiple years for my coffee table. Female: First thing I down three rubies maps, as the floor covering and then I came to the coffee table. Julie: I like that everything is that so expensive and at the last minute sometimes I think that’s on your mind so how can pull it together of the last minutes so I really love this ideas. I mean it is very simple and everything is so elegant. Gia Russo: I know, and don’t be afraid to bring things out for a party because literally this is going to be out in here for a few hours so even up to day and it’s not a problem. Female: So with that in mind we are running some of Julie’s guest pillows which also happen to be Chi’s favorite color, pink to complete the dining area. With any outdoor party, the weather it can be unpredictable. Since the wind pick up we need to keep the favorite panels from flopping all over. Here is how we secure them in place. We laid a long with poll down across the end of the hanging fabric and roll up the extras then using the small stick we wrap the edges of fabric around it, fold it tack then secure the stick to the bottom of the pole with the screw. We did these on both sides and no more flopping in the breeze. Michelle Adams: Alright we are going to start to setting the table. Gia Russo: I know this is the fun part. Female: In case you start to run late, it’s always a good idea to get your table set. That way you can desperately finish up while your guests admire the beautiful décor. Michelle Adams: This is the drape that we found in your home. Julie: It looks familiar. Gia Russo: We fold it in a couple of times and press it and down to the table running. Female: Once again, we raid the Julie’s stuff. Locally she likes pink as much of here best friend’s Chita’s. Gia Russo: And then maybe we can do the napkin on top of the plate. Female: Be creative with your setting by layering dishing and linens. We are finishing it off the chopsticks in each place. Michelle Adams: I love these glasses, oh my god. It got this really beautiful look delicate flower. It’s like a cherry blossom. Julie: And incorporate everything we have here just for linen and fabric. Female: We want the food to take center stage, so our centerpieces will be simple candles and beautiful floating balloons. Michelle Adams: We are using dahlia’s Julie and they come in so many different shades of pink and red and burgundy’s and this is not even a traditional arrangement. Let me try some. Julie: I just snap it from the stem right there. Michelle Adams: Yeah, just from the base up here and then just flip them. Julie: Perfect. Michelle Adams: That was so gorgeous. Gia Russo: Great. Chita: Anything Julie does a top of the line so I’m not going to be concern but I am still a little bit nervous you told me to get dress up and just show up so here I am. Female: This is one goodbye party, definitely worth toasting. Julie: Okay so here guys this is exciting. I couldn’t do that without these guys. Chita: Thank you. Gia Russo: No problem, have a great time. Michelle Adams: Yeah, enjoying your selves. Will see you later. Julie: Bye, bye. Thank you. Chita: Wow Julie. Julie: Okay look at this fabulous. Chita: They are beautiful. Julie: Come out to a lovely evening to cheers. Female: If you want to send some of the often style, pick a meaningful theme, take advantage of inexpensive rentals and some of your existing decorative items to create an inviting party atmosphere. We help Julie do that and we keep the cost of this party under $500. Chi will go up to Vietnam with great memories of her friends back home. Gia Russo: So remember to keep it simple and have fun, see you next time.
