How to Dress Like Your Favorite Gossip Girl Veronica Delfino: Everyone is looking towards the show Gossip Girl for fashion advice. So, we with the help of Banana Republic are learning how to dress like the ladies from the upper east side. Hi! I’m Veronica with Watchmojo.com and today, we’re learning how to dress like bad girl Blair, free-spirited Serena and spunky Vanessa. Jeffrey Spivock: To get the perfect, pretty side look, I think the most important thing you need to think about is having everything be really polished. Here we are just looking at a really simple sheath dress that you can sort of play around with afterwards with big pieces of chunky jewelry. The jewelry that we’re playing with here is state style jewelry. So, it's very large pieces and it's really something that looks like it’s been in your family for a long time. The headband is something that really sort of gives a little kick to that look and for us here, we actually put three smaller headbands together to really make that standout. And then of course, you need a great pair of high heel to make sure that you power over everybody in the city. What we have here is a look that’s we’ll say more soho, so really effortlessly chic. Definitely a little bit of boho mixed in but still polished and can get you into any club. We have a really great dress. So, it's something that looks really expensive and you mix that with a great velvet boyfriend blazer. Again, some really key pieces if jewelry. In this case, something thinner and a tiny bit more messy and also the really strong earring, top it all off with a great clutch. We have a ton on tone studding that’s fun but at the same still polished enough to go everywhere. So, this is definitely more of a Brooklyn cool style. This is really relaxed, great for the weekends. It's really comfortable cardigan that she pairs with a really bright fun color top and silk. Get a great pair of boyfriend jeans but she still puts on the heels to give it really that feminine look, which goes on the scarf and the hat which is great for hopping the subway to get back into the city. And also, mixes it in with some great pieces of jewelry; a necklace that’s sort of mixed up and lots of different chains mixed together to show all the different sides of her personality.
