How to Apply Airbrush Makeup Kalvin: So, maybe we can’t have a baby doll face at home but it’s pretty much easy to pop on out to an expert this days and get that airbrush make-up. Come on with me, I’m Kalvin Sims of watchmojo.com and I’m going to introduce you to the Airbrush Makeup expert. Mindy Shear: Airbrush makeup is the same process that you would use to paint cars, that you do for the nails, it’s basically a compressor that pushes the air through a system and it’s a water-based makeup especially designed. There’s other base of the makeup but I like the water-based the best because it lasts from morning to night. No touch is needed maybe just a lipstick and that’s it. It’s very hygienic and it’s just onto the face and it’s such a beautiful feeling. Kalvin: If you’re going to go out in the sun maybe in the hot summer is it’s going to run on you, it‘s got stability. Mindy Shear: It’s not going to run on you. If you’re going to touch your face with oily fingers then you’ll start making dense into the makeup like any other makeup. Kalvin: So, there are a lot of benefits obviously, the airbrush make up that people maybe don’t know about and the application of the air rather than a brush, why is it so much better? Mindy Shear: When you’re applying makeup with the brush, you may see some strings and might not get into the pores or exactly cover it as well. With the airbrush makeup, it just has full gorgeous standing flawless coverage. It’s just like so clean and natural and the coolest thing is that it just doesn’t feel like you’re wearing heavy makeup. Kalvin: So cleanliness, it looks hot, it’s easy to apply with a professional of course. And I think a lot of people think, “I’m not a movie star. Why do I need airbrush makeup”, but really it’s for everybody, right? Mindy Shear: It’s for everybody. People do it for dinners and for business meetings and if they’re just going for lunch or something, if they want to feel good, why not. Kalvin: And of course they can’t do it at the house. They’ve got to come in and see you which is a little bit of downfall but not so much. Mindy Shear: Well, not really because some people going out, they want to have their make-up professionally done. I think it’s even more important than the hair because if your hair is done and there’s no makeup, you still look tired. Putting makeup and hairs on a ponytail, you could look fabulous. It’s something special that when you’re getting your makeup done, you can do it yourself, this is the way to go.
