In this episode of BradGrahamTV, Brad shows various ways to achieve volume at home. Brad presents a variety of tips and tricks for getting more volume into your hair.

Hey guys its Brad Graham from BradGrahamTV today and we are going to show a nice little trick everybody wants you know to get that hair punked up, get that volume at the back just as you told me you know. The hardest thing I ever had is she wants to full the crown. So some great little tricks I am going to show you, I can do this at home, its very, very simple, its fun, its fast it’s easy. And most people think you just make love to it with a big can of hair spray. You can but you actually spray yourself in the corner. So let me show you up a couple of tricks especially on this which is very, very fine textured hair it’s the ones that really tie a leaf flat and kind of tough to do it. Get yourself a back combing comb. This is just like your regular rat tailed comb. This one here we can use straightly from Sally’s or you want to get more bristles. They really put more energy to the hair, or a little bit of backcombing in there. Let me just pop it all over here to the side and what you’ll do is the big trick is to grab this here just like a panel about an inch wide, don’t go too thick I mean you want to get that base nail in there. And what you want to do is just push that hair in to the base, now you notice it’s obvious “oh, I can't do it like you want to me Brad. When I do it, it looks messy, it looks fuzzy.” Well you notice I’m behind so when you are doing this at home and when you guys are doing this at home what I want you to do is hold your hair up and back comb behind because a lot of times you hold it up and you are back combing the front. So you can see all that ready and we don’t want to see that. You have a little base, and once you have that in there, a wide spray and make sure the spray is a very dry spray, we highly recommend of course Brad Graham hair spray but anyhow any hair spray will do. It has to be good, soft, workable hair spray. You don’t want to spray in too thick because we have to comb this afterwards. Directly behind it and then garb another one. Least we can do three sections, make it very, very simple, grip your hair straight up, grab it anyway you want it doesn’t matter as long as its up in the air. Get your back combing brush, put that in there and just get that base in there. You know people say well how much do I put in? Do I go so to a big wild Pomeranian? No just, want to put it in, so if you get that pointy part of your comb and you put it in there. If you feel it kind of stop, you cut it doesn’t do through the hair like this, it just puts a little boom on in. so and is you will then you know you got a little bit. A light spray, drop it forward, just leave it all kind of forward and I am going to go fairly wide, lots section three. I mean we want to look good fast. We don’t want to spend all the night. Give it a little quick thin through here put your base in, spray it, blow if it is little bit dry and just leave it for. You see we got all that forward, almost like a waterfall. Now I am just going to kick this bag and what you’ll get is kind of a silly pom-pom, you know sort of blue fancy shape, that’s what you want. So just kind of flip that back and what would do is I recommend putting your hand behind it but what’s even better to help you hold it because a lot of times you are back combing all your hair what happen is you comb it to do your shape and get it smooth and then it falls flat again. So just, get two of these longer body pins. You can get this anywhere, kid of grab them, open it up and just feel in to the back, when you find it its all thick, just kind of pop a right here in that will help you hold it and keep that stuff kind of vertical. Now we are going to pull this back and just use your hands first and the first you can see on Jess it looks kind of all in the center, its kind of goofy. Just use your hands and create combing. So I can get it to fall, when it starts to get in there and you can see, it’s almost there, it’s like those bumping. So you know go from flat to fat with bumping. You know this is when we don’t need to get bumping we are just going to use our own thing. Now if you get that brush and just hold it, just gently showing those stuff now and just move that top over and you know you are done really fast. If you see a little bit of rubbing grab a little bit of that hair from the front and like I say when it looks good spray it and that’s the whole trick it is. Just put a light spray in there and on the side too. check for you know make sure its symmetrical you know make sure its not on the side and you would look like an alien or you got you know a box on your head or something. And look in the front not too bad, see nice little pop in three easy sections and that didn’t take you know a hundred dollars and an hour in the show. So very nice, very easy trick you can do and when you get a pretty model it’s always easier but this way it’s really, really kind of a fast and fun and like I said, it looks good spray it down, good stuff guys.
