Find Out How Lauren Conrad Travels In Style Allison: Find out how Lauren Conrad travels in style and dishes on her new reality show, the designers of Marchesa give us their key to good style and in case you missed it, a look at how to wear the ladylike trend. I’m Allison and you’re watching FabFlash. We caught up with a Lauren Conrad who was at the Grove in Los Angles signing copies of her new book Sugar and Spice and Lauren Conrad’s style. Lauren has been traveling from city-to-city promoting her new books and looking fabulous while doing so. She tells us her style trick to looking chic from coast-to-coast. Lauren Conrad: A great coat and a nice pair of boots are great because you can wear anything underneath and nobody knows. I’ve been wearing leggings and make my pajama top and you don’t know. Allison: And while she attempts to save the world from FFU in her new fashion PSA, Lauren admits that she made committed a few of her own in the past. Conrad Lauren: It’s been a lot. I wore a floor length orange dress, my first formal with rhinestones on it. It’s really amazing, they look pumpkin. Allison: Now far from committing any FFU’s, the budding fashion designer tells us why she chose to go back to the screen and why we won’t be seen any break ups or make ups this time around. Conrad Lauren: It was all about finding the right show to do it. I really loved reality shows in the past. It’s just you know, I was missing that personal life and as soon I had it I didn’t want to let it go. So, I was just looking for the right opportunity and this came along. I had my idea to do one kind of following my clothing line and it's expanded to a bit more but I still get to go home at night and have my own life. Allison: Eagerly awaiting her new line which won’t be available until fall 2011 Lauren tells us why it’s going to be chop full of classics like high-waisted trousers and blazers. Conrad Lauren: I’m already hesitant to buy a trend piece that’s expensive so I wanted to do pieces you know like a really great high wasted short that you can wear with tights during the winter, you can wear during the summer with a blouse. We’re doing -- I want to do a really great blazer and you know different layering pieces just kind of more classic pieces that will last but they’re still modern in stylish. Allison: And Lauren tells us for her current fall fashion obsession. Conrad Lauren: In fall, it's always sweaters and it's always not hunting for sweaters just because after summer and wearing almost nothing, it’s kind of nice to get cozied out in a great sweater. Allison: We talk with Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig who tell us why confidence and showing off your best features are the key to good style. Georgina Chapman: I think you know you should just be confident in what you wear in what you wear. I think everybody saw less different whom my style, the way I dress myself wouldn’t be right to somebody else. So I think it’s just knowing who you are and being confident or not. And I’m more eager look best and show off your best features and your best aspects. Well than going to trend based and wearing something that might know actually fit you. Allison: And the one clothing item that everyone in the Marchesa office is buzzing about for fall. Georgina Chapman: It’s a very exciting new jacket actually from our fall collection. Karen Craig : It’s the same jacket we both been obsessing at first. So it just arrived and we’re so very excited. Allison: In case you missed it, checkout our newest how-to when we show you three fresh ways to wear false ladylike trend. I’m Allison thanks for watching FabFlash.
