Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is set in a fantasy world where “Crystals” from the balance of nature. There are four tribes that inhabit this world who at times work together. In this current installment, “The Crystal Bearers” The Crystals have become the basis for a now technology called crystal reactors and through developing this technology, the Litty Tribe has become very powerful. This is a whole new world. Players will get to enter this world by becoming the crystal bearer Layle and they can use Layle’s power to interact with the people and monsters they find in this world. Layle is a Clavat. He is also a crystal bearer. A crystal bearer is a being that always has some part of their body that can be turned to crystal. They are powerful beings who possess magical abilities derived from the crystals. But because of their power, they are feared by the public, and at times, exploited. They are in some ways, tragic figures. Layle has the power to control gravity. So he can draw things towards him, or push them away. He can even use his powers to “pull” his own body to leap distances and such. Layle can find and equip various accessories that will increase the power of his gravity manipulation, or increase his defense so he takes less damage from attacks. You can purchase these accessories in shops or you can collect the necessary materials to have them custom-made. You can have variety of materials in different areas of the world. you take materials to a “worship” where they will make accessories for you which you can them equip to customize Layle to you liking.
