Fashion Tips for Men – Underwear monkeysee.com See how the experts do it. Hi David here at Be Better Guys.com. The guy’s guide to getting a life, I’m talking about the fundamentals that every guy needs in their wardrobe and I’m talking about something that a lot of guys definitely are challenged on, underwear. Underwear is underpants, your undershirts, and your socks. Let’s start with underpants whether you wear boxers or weather you wear boxer briefs, I really don’t care, that’s up to you I don’t want to know you that well but what I do want to do is give you a couple of tips. One of them is; 100% cotton. No way on a 100% poly and if your silk your going— another thing about boxers these look like a regular pair of boxers but if I put my hand through it I’ve got holes right at the bottom here. How many of you guys have boxers like this. If you have any of these in you drawer these are a rag now. You want to get good quality boxers to wear. Now on to undershirts, guy’s should have six to ten undershirts something that you can wear under your clothes at work, maybe something you want to wear when you’re going out. Again, up to you. You have a choice of crew necks, v-necks, tank tops also known as wife beaters. When it comes to the undershirts 100% cotton again all polies, it’s not a good way to go. I for one am a fan of the v-neck, I like it and I’ll tell you why. With a v-neck when it’s under your dress shirt you got your tie up all through the day at the end of the day if you’re going out to meet some co-workers or a date take off the tie, pop open your shirt and you still look good, you have a clean line here without having that crew neck line shelling so something to keep in mind. Let’s talk about socks. A lot of guys have socks that have holes in them. No, those are not rags, those are now trash. Go out and invest in some good quality socks, some for work, some for casual. For work you have gray, blue and black and tan or some patterns that go great. One thing you want to keep in mind, you want them to be nice and long because you don’t want to have the dreaded businessman’s leg right there. How pretty is that scene right now? So make sure you have over calf socks that come up nice and long. The casual socks, hey anything goes, whatever you want to wear for casual socks is fine, athletic socks, we prefer cotton there, definitely recommend a way to go.
