Fashion Tips for Men – Pants monkeysee.com See how the experts do it. Brian: I’m Brian of Be Better Guys.com, A guys guide to getting a life. We’re talking about the fundamentals of a man to wardrobe specifically speaking about pants right now. Pants and belt actually. The big thing about pants nowadays is that guys are now wearing flat front pants much more than more flattering Dave’s got on here. Here you can see so much more look and now when you buy a suit frequently still you’re going to have a pleated pants, they still work particularly if you have a little bit more loving around the middle. It still a wonderful option but definitely for younger guys you want to get more flat front pants. You also want to think about the types of pants you need for your day-to- day. You’re going to need four to six pair to wear for work occasions. You’re not always going to wear a suit to work and some people don’t wear suits at all to work. So you want four to six pair pants. You want a wool, medium-weight worsted wool that will take you most of the year but then you want things you’re going to be specific also to the time of the year. Heavier weight wools for the winter, cotton, khakis, linen pants for the summers and warmer months. We’re going to talk about a couple of different types of pants right now in those lines we have a pair of khakis right here, light weight, great, the color this color is perfect for jackets, it’s perfect for summer wear, polo shirts, blue shirts look fantastic. We have a check here which is a nice summer look actually, summer and spring look adds a little color adds a little pop actually to your wardrobe without getting too terribly far out there. Then we’re going to look here at traditional gray worsted wool. This pant will go with almost everything in a guy’s wardrobe for his work life so these are the sort of things you want to look at when you’re talking about pants for work. Now with casual wear, you have a little bit more range. You have a course jeans and jeans have been very popular the last several years. You can buy jeans from everybody from Levis to Dolce Gabbana and you can spend anything from $30 to $300 on paired jeans. The big thing about jeans is you want to make sure that jeans like any pair of pants fit you. Obviously, no one can buy a pair of pleated jeans but if you look at these here. It’s a very solid jean, it had good design on the pocket it’s dark you want a darker color jean as opposed to lighter jean because then you can use the jeans when you go in out at night. They’re going to last you a bit longer. This is a good looking jean. In addition to casual pants for guys, we’ll talk about corduroys. We have a pair right here, a pair of black ones and look really nice. Corduroy is great for the fall, winter, it’s a good look and then you can go when you get to spring and summer you mentioned the khakis. You can go with linen pants and you want to have at least four or five pair of those as well for the warmer months. Now if you want any pants you need to have a belt. So the belt you match your shoes. We have a couple of examples of belts here, this is a great looking casual belt a little brownish black leather, solid buckle looks great, here’s a more dressy belt and when we talk about dress belts if you have, if you wear suits, if you wear things for work you want to have a belt like this and brown and in black. You want to have at least a brown and black belt and then you’re probably going to have one other belt for with none work hours something like this would be great. Dave’s got on a great distress brown looking a brown leather belt here that will be fantastic as well for after work hours and we have a couple of other examples of belts for guys to think about.
