Hollyscoop caught up with DJ Pauly D at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas for a Vegas style ribbon cutting ceremony to christen a tanning bed in his name. We asked him about Season 2 of 'Jersey Shore', the new 'GTL', and who can use a tan in Hollywood. Interview by Diana Madison.

Female: Gym, tan and liquor, what happened to laundry? DJ Pauly D: Gym, tan and liquor, man. We’re drinking off by the pool. Gym, tan and laundry in Vegas is how we do right here. They sent somebody up to do your laundry. Female: So, people come out here and actually get your tan, right? DJ Pauly D: Yes. I mean what better tan would you want than DJ Pauly D’s tan. So, I got my own bed. It’s in room number one, Sunset Tan like it’s better than that. So, every time I come out here and DJing, I'm always detailing anyway. So, now I got my own bed. Female: So, what is like the technique to get your tan? Is it just to use a bed or do you do some other stuff, you use some lotions? DJ Pauly D: I mean it’s a combination of inside tan using the bed and then outside tan by the pool. So, while I'm DJing, you think I'm just DJing, I'm actually getting the tan. You know what I'm saying? Female: Who do you think has the hottest tan in Hollywood? Like a tanorexic; Lindsay Lohan, the Kardashians. DJ Pauly D: I mean the Kardashians real tan too but I think its going to go my girl Snooki. She got a tan. She got a really good tan. Female: Who do you think needs a tan in Hollywood? Like Scarlett Johansson, the Twilight Kids, Kristen Stewart. DJ Pauly D: Twilight Kids could use a tan. I'm a fan of them but they need a tan. Female: Awesome and now, you also spin at the club over at Palms, right? DJ Pauly D: Oh yeah. I went over there too. Pretty much all the Palms properties, they’re spinning all their clubs so, we get doing this —outside. The rain goes by moon, all of them. It’s all the big spots. Female: So, why do you think people should come to your party instead of all the other pool parties and clubs because there’s a lot going on in Vegas? DJ Pauly D: There’s a lot going on in Vegas but you got to stop by a Pauly D party. It’s serious. The video’s online. I mean tons and tons and tons of girls. I mean it’s a good time, good music. Female: With good music. I don’t want to tell these clubs, I was out last—to people fist pumping and if I like, they have it wrong, what’s still like the right proper way to fist pump? DJ Pauly D: Oh come on, everybody has their own technique but you got to be with the beat. That’s the most important thing. So, when I beat it, you got to fight back and you beat it up. Everyone got their own style. Mine’s like, I got swag on my fist pumping. I mean, I’m up there; it’s cool when I do it. Female: That’s awesome. Now a new season I saw it like the first episode like first the ten minutes, the Snooki thing with the Obama percentage off of the—like what is that about? DJ Pauly D: I mean Obama put a tax on tan, Snooki is upset about that. Female: But you’re still using the tanning bed, right? DJ Pauly D: Oh yeah. I don’t mind the tax. It’s sort of I got my own tan at Sunset Tan. Female: So, it’s gym, tan and liquor, so you could actually drink? DJ Pauly D: Oh yeah. Female: A lot different than any other tanning salon. DJ Pauly D: All by the pool if you were drinking all day long. Female: You could come up by a package here like for $50.00 you could—
