Hi, this is Mike Callahan, Doctor File Finder. Welcome to your Butterscotch.com pictorial and configuration options in parallels desktop for MAC. Now we have another tutorial I showed creating a new virtual machine in parallels desktop. What I wanted to show you just some of the configurable options you have, you open the machine up and click configure, and you can see here that you can even configure the boot order like you do on a physical computer. You can control startup and shutdown, optimization, either optimized performance for the virtual machine or for the Mac. You have services that you can take advantage of, shared folders, SmartMount, SmartGuard, you can deal with all of the hardware aspects that you can say 2 CPU’s you got to adjust the amount of memory up and down, you could do it like that or you can do it with the slider. We don’t have right click image especially with Ubuntu, it’s by request. You can control your video, how much video memory you have. Floppy disk, CD’s DVD’s, hard drives, want more than one hard drive? Not a problem. Network? Shared you can use bridged. The difference between shared and bridged this is a shared. It shares the IP address of the physical computer and bridged utilizes its own IP address. So these are just some other things that you can control in a parallels desktop for Mac virtual machine. I think it’s fairly impressive and I don’t know what any other program covers exactly this many features. So that’s the configurations of parallels desktop for Mac, and that’s all there is to it.
